CV

Smith received her B.A. from Indiana University (Bloomington). She moved to Germany to study painting and language at the AdBK (Akademie der Bildenden Künste) in Berlin and Nürnberg, Germany. She lived, worked and continued her studies in Berlin, Nürnberg and France for a decade.

Recent collaborations and noteworthy acquisitions include the Cleve Carney Museum of Art (Chicago) and large-scale projects with The Charles Krug Winery of Napa Valley and Carnival Cruise Lines International. Smith also holds a fellowship from the Eli Lilly Foundation and the Indianapolis Arts Council.
